Students participating in the MSE 401 Entrepreneurship and Invention Seminar join guest speaker and 100state President Niko Skievaski at 100state for an introduction to entrepreneurship and the “business canvas model.”


Our affiliates help us maintain a continuing relationship with industry, through which we introduce industrial partners to our students, support senior thesis projects, support technology transfer, and build long-term collaborations. 


The Wisconsin Materials Institute is establishing a regional materials network for sharing facilities, software, and data to increase opportunity and efficiency for materials scientists in Wisconsin and beyond. 






The Advanced Materials Industrial Consortium gives commercial partners the opportunity to collaborate with students and faculty in advanced materials research across the UW-Madison Campus.
