| Biomechanics Laboratory (Kinesiology Department) |
The biomechanics laboratory is devoted to the study of human motion from a mechanical perspective. Ongoing research topics include the mechanics of the leg during cycling, various gait analyses, and basic studies of muscle and ligament mechanical properties. The laboratory is equipped with 3-D motion analysis systems, floor mounted (6-axis) force plates, treadmills, and an instrumented bicycle pedal.
