Engineering Expo 2003
Students from throughout Wisconsin came to the College of Engineering in April for Engineering EXPO 2003, designed to showcase the world of engineering and science to young students and the public. Many students found their way to the Myers Student Automotive Center, home to the college's student-run automotive projects. Among the projects viewed by the students were (left to right) a clean-running snowmobile, an off-road Baja car, and a futuristic hybrid car that runs on hydrogen fuel. Students had the opportunity to climb on, in and around the vehicles, with students on hand to describe advances in automotive technology.
