Nils Larson (BS'58) e-mails that he retired from the Salt River Project in Phoenix in 1997 and is currently "doing nothing, but doing it very well. As my final assignment at SRP, I established and managed the Acid Rain Compliance program for 12 generating units affected by Title IV of the federal Clean Air Act. My wife, Carolyn, and I try to spend as much time on a cruise ship as possible. Last June I was elected Fellow of the International Air and Waste Management Association."
Mark C. Benton (MS'75, PhD'78) is currently managing optical and mechanical engineering for high speed (one gigabit plus) fiber optic transceivers using internet LANs. He works for the Optoelectronics Division of Methode Electronics in Barrington, Illinois.
Wayne Klimovitz (BS'84) informs us that he is currently Manager of Client Services for Stoner Associates in Texas. "My wife is a dermatologist, and we are opening up our own dermatology practice in Round Rock, Texas (20 minutes north of Austin). I will manage the practice from home (Sugar Camp)."
Jennifer L. Pavlovic (BS'84) recently began a new position as Principal Research and Development Engineer at Microvena Corporation in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Microvena develops and manufactures medical devices for the cardiovascular market.
Kyle Brownell (MS'98) is Senior Product Development Engineer for Greenheck Corporation and lives in Schofield, WI. He writes that he was recently married to Maria "Lia" Budman in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kyle received his PE license this April.
