Banholzer wins American Chemical Society's Barnes Award

Bill Banholzer, a member of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and the Wisconsin Energy Institute, has won the American Chemical Society's 2014 Earle B. Barnes Award for Leadership in Chemical Research Management. The annual award recognizes one individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in managing research projects in chemistry or chemical engineering. Banholzer joined UW-Madison after retiring from Dow Chemical Company, where he served as an executive vice president and CTO.
