David Kelton (MS '79, PhD '80) has been named professor of management science and chair of the Department of Management Science and Information Systems in the Smeal College of Business Administration at Penn State. He also is editor-in-chief of the INFORMS Journal on Computing. His book, Simulation with Arena (co-authored with Randy and Deb Sadowski), won McGraw-Hill's award for most successful new title, and has been translated into Japanese and Korean.
Michael Ketter (BS '99, MSMSE '01) is employed at Deere & Company, Moline, Illinois, as a supply management engineer in Supply Management Strategic Planning. He works in mergers and acquisitions.
Charlene Yauch (PhD '00), assistant professor of industrial engineering at Oklahoma State University, has been awarded the Pritsker Award for Outstanding Teaching in IE at OSU.
