1999-2000 Scholarship Recipients

The Robert Ratner Scholarship is awarded by the department with funds donated to the UW Foundation in memory of Robert Ratner, who was a professor of industrial engineering and associate dean of the College of Engineering. The Charles & Constance Bleyer Scholarships, Stratton E. Hicks Scholarships, and Robert Mensel Scholarships are general scholarships for engineering students. The Lewis Raymond Brown Scholarships are for Wisconsin residents with special regard to scholastic promise. The Gilbert & Genevieve Buske Scholarships are for full-time engineering students. The Fred W. & Josephine Colbeck Scholarships are for U.S. citizens with junior or senior standing. The Jane & Lloyd Pettit Foundation Scholarships were established in recognition of the years of service of College of Engineering graduates to the Allen-Bradley Company. The Frank & Marilyn Roberts Scholarships are unrestricted scholarships.

The scholarships were awarded at a Nov. 11, 1999, banquet sponsored by Andersen Consulting.
