613 Multiple Criteria Evaluation: Utility Assessment Models and Methods. Irr; 3 cr. Modern systems evaluation problems often involve trade-offs on multiple performance criteria or dimensions of value. This course provides an introduction to the mathematical theory and real-world practice of developing quantitative models to represent highly qualitative judgments that are made in systems evaluations involving multiple criteria. P: Math 234 or equiv & Grad st, or cons inst. Fryback.
