Welcome to the Bone and Joint Biomechanics Lab website

Our team is focused on various aspects of biomechanical research and design including orthopaedic implant testing and design, bone modeling, prosthetic design and sports biomechanics.

Our goal is to better understand the nature of bone, bone growth and joint biomechanics as they relate to the orthopaedics industry as well as to the developing field of computer-aided surgery. Lab techniques include traditional mechanical testing methods (from macro to nano scale) and finite-element analysis.

We look forward to collaborating with other researchers, both locally and abroad. Feel free to contact us with feedback/ideas/suggestions. Thank you.
