Edil receives prestigious research award
CEE and GLE professor Tuncer B. Edil has been named recipient of the the 2008-09 USUCGER Distinguished Research Award. This award, recognizes Professor Edil’s outstanding and innovative contributions to research, creative accomplishment, and scholarship in the field of geotechnical engineering. USUCGER (United States Universities Council on Geotechnical Education and Research ) is an organization that provides advocacy for the continued development and expansion of high quality geotechnical, geomechanical, geoenvironmental, geological, and geophysical engineering research and education by US academic institutions.
