Duties and Responsibilities
-
Coordinate activities for Credit Courses at a Distance (CCD).
Advanced degrees offered on-line to practicing engineers.
Programs available are in power electronics, computer controls, polymer engineering and science, and technical Japanese.

Collaborate with faculty to select, plan and produce courses.

Develop, track and implement a marketing plan to promote our life long learning programs.

Initiate and develop contacts with engineering managers, human resource staff and industry representatives.

Prepare and present on-site presentations to engineering managers and engineers.

Coordinate delivery of classroom lectures which are distributed via the web or DVD to adult learners at remote sites.

Attend career fairs to talk directly with working engineers about available educational opportunities.

Support 60-80 off-campus adult learners.

Involved in continuing engineering education on a national level (asee.org)
