In memoriamSol Burstein, retired vice chairman and director of Wisconsin Energy Corporation, died Jan. 28 in Washington, D.C. Sol, who lived in Falls Church, Virginia, was a longtime supporter of the department and a member of its industrial advisory board. Alumnus Robert Y. Bodine (PhDEM '61) died Feb. 24 in Milwaukee. He spent the majority of his career at A.O. Smith, Milwaukee, rising from research engineer in 1961 to president of CAD Comp, an A.O. Smith subsidiary. At UW-Madison, he worked as an instructor while earning his PhD and later spent 10 years as a professor at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
