MS in Medical Physics-Health Physics Option

A BSNE degree provides an excellent background for an MS degree in Medical Physics with a Health Physics option. The Radiation Sciences track is especially designed for students wishing to pursue this path. NEEP courses which are required for this MS degree are: NE (NEEP) 305, NE (NEEP) 427, NE (NEEP) 569, and NE (NEEP) 571. Medical Physics courses which are required for the MS and can be taken by undergraduates are: Med Phys 410, 463, 501, and 567. In addition to these requirements, MS candidates must also take Med Phys 664, one credit of 661, 662, 663, or 665 , and also one credit of 699 and 900. Even if some of these required courses are taken while the student is an undergraduate, the Graduate School still requires a total of at least 16 graduate credits after graduation with a BS degree.
