Undergraduates are urged to join the Student Chapter of the American Nuclear Society. This gives them an opportunity to meet other students, take an active part in organizing activities, meet visiting speakers, and hear talks in their fields presented on a level appropriate for undergraduates. There are technical, organizational, and social meetings, including fall and spring picnics and an annual regional meeting at which students present papers.
