    Summary

    Professor Dresner is a senior research staff member (retired) at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. A theoretician, his current interests are the stability of superconducting magnets, cryogenic heat transfer, and the solution of non-linear ordinary and partial differential equations. His work at UW-Madison concentrates on the theoretical aspects of heat transport and magnet stability in superfluid helium (He-II). He is connected with UW-Madison's interdisciplinary Applied Superconductivity Center.
