Each student will retain the same adviser throughout his/her undergraduate career (except for the freshman year) even though he/she may not advance in class standing at the normal rate. Further, at graduation time, this same advisor will be responsible for certification that the student has met the BS degree requirements.

Freshmen should be aware that their official advisors are Dean Romero and the Pre-Engineering Office. However, they are also invited to consult with Professor Blanchard on matters related to the curriculum.

Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to discuss academic or other questions or problems with Professor Blanchard, especially when they have not been able to get satisfactory responses from their regular advisors.
