Most financial assistance is awarded through the Office of Student Financial Services (432 North Murray Street, 608/262-3060). Some financial assistance is also available from Engineering Student Services (1150 Engineering Hall, 608/262-2473 or 608/262-3484). The Department of Engineering Physics has a limited amount of scholarship funds available for Nuclear Engineering (NE), Engineering Mechanics (EM), and Engineering Physics (EP) students. Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis, usually in the fall semester. No application is necessary. Students accepted into the major are automatically eligible to be considered for scholarships.
