Catalog Description: 454 Value Engineering II. (Crosslisted with EPD, Ind Engr, and ME 454.) II; 1 cr. An intermediate/advanced course in value engineering emphasizing techniques relating customer/user attitudes to the cost of the product. Functions will be customer oriented and will apply to the total product whether it is a new concept or a redesign. Active projects brought in by participating professionals and their evaluation by teams will be an important learning procedure. P: EPD/EMA/IE/ME 453. Wuerger.
