Academic Technologies: Technology solutions for teaching and research.

Center for Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning

DELTA: The Delta Program is a research, teaching and learning community for faculty, academic staff, post-docs, and graduate students that will help current and future faculty succeed in the changing landscape of science, engineering, and math higher education.

Distance Education Professional Development Certificate Program: The Distance Education Certificate Program serves individuals in higher education, business and industry, government, military, and K-12 who want to achieve personal and career goals in the rapidly growing field of distance education.

Instructional Communications Systems: From audioconferencing to videoconferencing and webconferencing, we have the technology and the experience to handle your telecommunication and distance learning needs.

Quality Matters: A course design and evaluation rubric based upon forty specific elements, distributed across eight broad instructional design standards, by which to design and evaluate online and hybrid courses. The elements are framed around eight aspects of course design: 1) Course Overview and Introduction, 2) Learning Objectives, 3) Asssessment and Measurement, 4) Resources and Materials, 5) Learner Engagement, 6) Course Technology, 7) Learner Support, and 8) Accessibility.

Instructional Media Development Center

Learning Innovations: UWLI develops and supports online degree and certificate programs for UW System institutions.The solutions include quality course design/development, training/deployment, and consultation.

Media, Education Resources and Informational Technology (MERIT): Personalized solutions for instructional, learning, and technical support in the development and distribution of professional media to our clients within the School of Education, the larger university community and beyond the campus.

Professional Certificate in Online Teaching: The Professional Certificate in Online Teaching (PCOT) offers a foundation of key principles and best practices in online teaching. At your pace and on your own schedule, you’ll develop the knowledge and skills for being a successful online instructor.

Scientific Teaching: We invite the participation of faculty, graduate students, and postdocs by training them to become outstanding mentors and classroom teachers.

Teaching and Learning Excellence (Teaching Academy): The Teaching and Learning Excellence website is a collaborative meeting place for faculty, staff, graduate students, post-docs and other educators from across the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus to share ideas, challenges, and solutions, as well as find resources to help in their instructional mission. It is the virtual teaching and learning center at UW-Madison.
