If you do not receive financial support from the ECE department, can you meet the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) financial requirements for a visa?

International applicants are required to have sufficient funds to cover their expenses completely while attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison. You must certify that you have a minimum of $41,115* (U.S. dollars) per calendar year. This amount may be greater than $41,115 because of insurance costs, and if you bring dependents.
