ECE honors undergraduate scholarship recipients

n Sept. 19, 2005, ECE honored 86 students as the recipients of 96 undergraduate scholarships at an award luncheon for donors, recipients, faculty and staff in the Engineering Hall lobby. Undergraduate scholarships are made available each year through individual and trust fund donations to the department and the College of Engineering.

This year’s recipients were selected from 119 applicants and scholarships totaled over $175,000. These scholarships would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. A heart felt thanks to all of you who make it possible to recognize outstanding ECE students! Following below and at right are lists of the recipients and the funds/donors.

In addition, Grainger Outstanding Power Engineering Student Awards were presented at an April banquet to 10 undergraduate students. (Eight graduate students also received Grainger Power Awards at this event).
