TA Service Award recipient

Jacob Eapen, ECE PhD student was honored at a campus ceremony in February for his contributions to teaching and learning service activities.

Eapen was co-chair of the COE Teaching Improvement Program for two years; served as a presenter in several COE New Educators Orientations; assisted with ECE new TA orientations; spearheaded initiatives of the American Society of Engineering Education Student Chapter; presented a poster paper at ASEE national conference; and as part of the ESTEAM community outreach program, Eapen demonstrated control experiments to high school students. Currently, Eapen is continuing his PhD program in the control area while serving as a lecturer in an undergraduate systems course.
