312 Biomedical Engineering Laboratory. II; 1 cr. Application of engineering principles to problems in medicine and biology. Six experiments on biomedical instrumentation, prosthetic devices, measurement of physiological data and modeling of physiological systems. P: ECE 271 or con reg; ECE 340.

Prerequisite knowledge and/or skills

1.Understand amplifier design using operational amplifiers.

2.Ability to use measuring instruments.

3.Ability to use computers.

Textbook: Laboratory Notes from Bob's Copy Shop.

To enable the student to make accurate and safe measurements of signals from the human and apply these to therapy.
