University of Wisconsin Madison College of Engineering

Dual degree program

The College of Engineering has established an Intercollegiate Dual Degree Program with the following institutions:

  • Carthage College, Kenosha, WI
  • Edgewood College, Madison, WI
  • UW-Eau Claire, Eau Claire, WI
  • UW-La Crosse, La Crosse, WI
  • UW-Oshkosh, Oshkosh, WI
  • UW-River Falls, River Falls, WI
  • UW-Whitewater, Whitewater, WI
  • UW-Superior, Superior, WI

Under this plan, the student attends one of these colleges for approximately three years, and then comes to the UW-Madison College of Engineering usually for four or more semesters. The student thereby completes the course work for two bachelor of science degrees - one from the dual degree institution and one from UW-Madison College of Engineering.

Because of their classification as transfer students, applicants must meet all requirements for transfer as specified in the dual degree agreement. Applicants must also be admissible to their intended engineering program. For further details of the program, contact the dual degree coordinator at one of the participating institutions, or contact UW-Madison Engineering General Resources Office, 608-262-2473, egradvisor@engr.wisc.edu.
