Student chapter of HFES wins top honors for on-campus efforts

The UW-Madison student chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society has won a gold award for its on-campus activities in the past year, which included hosting guest speakers, lab tours for underrepresented students in science and engineering, establishing a journal club, and fostering mentor relationships between graduate and undergraduate students. Gold is the highest level award, recognizing the chapters that are most active on their respective campuses. The students will receive their award at the HFES annual meeting in October.
