80...and going strong
Many of you will remember Ed Paulsen, who has managed the chemical engineering stockroom for the past 31 years. This past March Ed celebrated his 80th birthday. He still enjoys walking to work every day, and has no plans to give up his title as elder staff member any time soon. Even so, Diane Peterson has him beat when it comes to years of service with the department. Diane has been on our staff since 1969. More recent graduates will be sorry to learn that Kathy (Gilmore) Myhre, who served the department's undergraduate program since 1988, has taken another position with the program in English as a Second Language on campus. We wish her well.
