Second edition of Transport Phenomena
Coming to a bookstore near you ...The second edition of Transport Phenomena, the long-awaited update to the classic 1960 text by Bob Bird, Warren Stewart and Edwin Lightfoot, is due in bookstores this summer, in time for fall classes. "We're on the verge. It's really going to happen," Bob insists. Judging from the flurry of final page proofs that staff member Diane Peterson has sent by express carrier to publisher John Wiley & Sons in recent months, we believe him!
See the Chemical Engineering Department Milestones web page for a brief history of the first edition of Transport Phenomena and other publications.
