Hill (BS '50), John B. Snell (BS '59), Joseph R. Spence (BS '59, Bus. Admin. '61), Alfred H. Jaehn (BS '49), Herbert (Sam) Roth (BS '49), William O. Giesfeldt (BS '49) (23K JPG)

Eleven graduates from the classes of 1949, 1950 and 1959 gathered for the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) reunion this past May. The `49ers recounted their days studying in the old Chemical Engineering Building on Park Street and taking classes from the likes of Professors Olaf Hougen, Otto Kowalke and Rowland Ragatz.

This year's WAA reunions are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13. (Members of the classes of '40, '45, '50, '55, and '60 should have received information from WAA by now.) Events will include a Saturday morning tour of the department. The post-war class of 1950 was the second largest in the history of the department, with 122 BS graduates, so we are hoping for a good turnout!
