C.C. Watson fund established

Chuck Watson had a strong interest in encouraging students to engage in hands-on experimentation, and in introducing students to real-life problems in industry. As a lasting tribute to his father, Richard Watson has contributed a generous gift to the department to establish the Charles C. Watson Memorial Instructional Laboratories Fund. Proceeds from the endowment will be used to ensure an added margin of excellence in our instructional labs through such means as purchase of lab equipment and support of field trips to local industries. We welcome and encourage additional gifts to the fund.
