Engineering Electives, effective January 2004

  1. Courses from the following departments may be used as engineering electives:
    1. Biomedical Engineering
    2. Civil and Environmental Engineering
    3. Electrical and Computer Engineering
    4. Engineering Mechanics and Astronautics
    5. Engineering Professional Development1
    6. Geological Engineering Program
    7. Industrial and Systems Engineering
    8. Materials Science and Engineering2
    9. Mechanical Engineering
    10. Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics

  2. Biological Systems Engineering 542, Food Engineering Operations, and BSE 642, Food and Pharmaceutical Separations, may be taken as Engineering Electives.


  1. Full degree credit is not allowed if a student takes both CBE 440 and MS&E 350. MS&E 350 will be awarded only 1 degree credit.
