Basic Membership
As a basic member of the QRM Center, you get:- a reduced rate for QRM seminars, workshops and conferences that keep you abreast of the latest developments in lead time reduction
- significant discounts on publications you purchase through the Center
- an opportunity to participate in members-only events such as visits to member companies to view their operations
- an invitation to attend project presentations by Manufacturing Systems Engineering student teams at the end of each spring semester
- the benefit of ongoing affiliation with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a highly respected institution that provides a link to cutting-edge research in manufacturing engineering and related fields
- a chance to interact with representatives of other member firms of various sizes, helping you learn how they have successfully dealt with the common challenges you all face

Expanded Membership
When you join at the expanded level, you have the opportunity to work with students who make multiple visits to your workplace over a four-month period. They investigate elements of your production process -- aspects of problem solving that member firms continually tell us they find difficult to accomplish in the face of day-to-day manufacturing demands.
Using their classroom training, sophisticated computer programs and experience from broad exposure to other industries, students rapidly analyze your data. Under the guidance of QRM Center Director Professor Ananth Krishnamurthy, the students make recommendations to help you achieve your lead-time-reduction goals.
In addition to the academic rigors of the Manufacturing Systems Engineering program, students attend QRM seminars, expanding their knowledge about a multitude of production operations and scenarios. As an expanded member, you benefit directly from their growing expertise and sustained enthusiasm.

Membership Fee
Basic annual membership is $2,950 per company.Expanded annual membership of $9,900 allows participation in longer-term, in-depth student/faculty projects.
