(National Oilwell Varco Sam Houston Parkway Facility)

Mohammed Shakeel Shaikh – Industrial Engineering Manager
Arlyne Han – Operations Process Engineer
To meet the burgeoning demand for power systems and controls, NOV is adopting a creative strategy of implementing QRM simultaneously in the United States and Asia. This two-pronged approach brings special challenges and opportunities.
  • Growing demand motivates need to increase in-house capacity
  • Layout changes and capital investments to increase capacity for sheet metal parts
  • Implementing cells and standardizing work flow for key product lines
  • Improvement in warehouse operations to save labor costs
3:30 pm - 4:20 pm
