IN MEMORIAM

J. Muriel Saul, wife of former Professor and Chair William Saul, died May 1 in Okemos, Michigan. Saul earned her master’s degree in library science from UW-Madison and worked as reference librarian in the College of Engineering library for nearly 20 years. She went on to serve as a reference librarian at the University of Idaho and at Michigan State University. At each university, she was cited for her competency and personnel skills.

Kind and helpful, she loved music and nature and had an active sense of humor and a willingness for travel and adventure.
