Professor Kenneth Potter was featured in a story in the June edition of "Civil Engineering" on methods to standardize storm-water runoff systems so they can be incorporated into public infrastructure projects.

Professor Jeffrey Russell wrote a column, "Bail Out Concrete Canoe Race," for the June 24 edition of Engineering News Record, in which he encouraged faculty and students to participate in concrete canoe and steel bridge building contests as a way to gain practical, hands-on experience in engineering.
