Water chemistry department dissolves into new program
Looking for the water chemistry department? You won't find it at least not in its previous form. The program has changed its name to Environmental Chemistry and Technology. David Armstrong, program chair, explained the new name is more representative of the program's scope and mission. The graduate program offers several areas of specialization, including aquatic chemistry, environmental technology, air pollution chemistry, and terrestrial chemistry. This interdepartmental program, administered by the College of Engineering, includes faculty members from the colleges of engineering, letters and science, and agriculture and life sciences. Current faculty members from the College of Engineering include Marc Anderson, Anders Andren, David Armstrong, Charles Hill, Daniel Noguera, James Schauer and William Sonzogni. |
