Summary

Gary founded Rylander Consulting in 2007 as a one-person consulting firm offering professional services in the planning, design, operations and management of traffic and transportation engineering projects and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Gary resides in nearby Middleton, Wisconsin.

Gary has 34 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors with large and small projects involving traffic and transportation engineering and planning and ITS planning, design, operations, maintenance and management. He has worked on many projects in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest and relocated to Phoenix in 2006 for Edwards and Kelcey, which was acquired by the Jacobs Engineering Group in 2007. Gary has served in multiple project roles on a wide variety of ITS and traffic projects: project manager; principal-in-charge; lead designer; technical support; outreach facilitation and consensus building; and quality assurance and quality control.
