744 Structures Under Dynamic Loads I. I or II; 3cr. Analysis and design of beams, frames, floors, buildings or other structures subjected to dynamic loads. Emphasis is on developing discrete parameter models of real structures. Numerical methods for the analysis of structures subjected to earthquakes, moving loads, dynamic forces. P:CivEngr 440 or cons inst. Oliva.

Entering students should have a well based understanding of structural anaysis and behavior.
