731 Properties of Geosynthetics. (Crosslisted with GLE 731.) Alt Yrs; 3cr. Properties and behavior of geosynthetics (plastics sheets and geotextiles used in geotechnical and geo-environmental construction) are discussed and measured in a laboratory setting. Students learn how to measure and quantify geomechanical and hydraulic behavior of geosynthetics which are used in design. P:Grad st & Civ Engr 330, or cons inst. Edil, Benson.
