Course objectives

Travel behavior analysis is the study of the why, when, where, and how questions related to people’s day-to-day travel decisions and actions. This behavioral approach to transportation planning is currently revolutionizing the practice of transportation planning. This course will examine the common patterns of travel behavior, the analysis and prediction of travel behavior, and the impact of travel behavior on the urban system.
