| CEE 659 - Special Topics in Surveying and Photogrammetry |
No text book is required. However, there is a list of required readings selected from the literature.
Three one-hour lectures each week of the semester.
The following statement indicates which of the following considerations are included in this course: economic, environmental, ethical, political, societal, health and safety, manufacturability, sustainability.
Students completing CEE 659 should be able to use the engineering design process for creative problem solving in the domain of transportation location referencing systems. They should be able to apply methods and determine the accuracy and precision requirements for making measurements. They should have experienced the stages of group development by working on an open-ended team project, with each member of the team playing a specified role. These students should be able to assemble and deliver accurate and well-organized technical presentations. They should know the principles and structure of computer programs and be able to apply computer technology to well-defined problems.
