$1,000,000 by the Suzanne & Richard Pieper Family Foundation to establish a Servant Leader Chair in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
$1,000,000 by the M. A. Mortenson Company to support the Construction and Engineering Management Program
To be successful in the next 20 years, we need industry investment in the following areas:
1 - $2,000,000 endowed professorships to attract and retain educational leaders in the design/construction profession
5 - $250,000 endowed graduate fellowships to provide some sustained funding to support graduate students that can address pressing industry problems
$1,000,000 endowed Program Enhancement Fund to facilitate hiring industry lecturers, visitors scholars, support student-based hands-on projects, and coordination of industry relationships and development
$1,000,000 endowed Construction Center of Excellence to focus on state-of-the practice problems such as the role of information technology and e-commerce and assist in preparing students to be construction industry leaders in the next millennium
$1,000,000 endowed Undergraduate Scholarships to assist in attracting and retaining the top high school students for specialized construction education.
