1st Place: University of Wisconsin-Madison

To come to the concept for the national championship
and come away with the top prize means a lot
because we all worked real hard to get here,
and we had a goal, and we went to perform as best we could.

We had a well-rounded and diverse team
that had different talents,
and they all came together
to create a great product
and overall great competition.

We have excellent paddlers to begin with,
we performed a very good presentation,
we wrote a very good paper,
and our final product was very nice.

And we were proud to bring that all to concept.
