Student group honored by WAA

The Wisconsin Alumni Association and the Wisconsin Alumni Student Board honored the Biomedical Engineering Society as an outstanding student organization on May 1, 2001. BMES was one of only two student groups to win the $250 award. The group plans to use the award to fund the new Peer-Mentoring Program designed to serve younger biomedical engineers.

BME MONITOR is published twice a year for alumni and friends of the UW-Madison Department of Biomedical Engineering.
