BME welcomes a new student chapter

The UW Biomedical Society was recently accepted as the UW-Madison student chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society. The organization is now known by its formal name, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Biomedical Engineering Society Student Chapter, or BMES.

The group promotes biomedical engineering knowledge and its utilization by reaching students who are interested in the application of science and engineering principles to medicine. You are invited to visit the group's website at www.cae.wisc.edu/~bmes.

BME MONITOR is published twice a year for alumni and friends of the UW-Madison Department of Biomedical Engineering.
