573 Imaging in Medicine I, Deterministic Processes. Cross-listed with Medical Physics 573, 3 cr. The conceptual, mathematical and statistical aspects of imaging science, and a survey from this formal viewpoint of various medical imaging modalities, including filmscreen radiography, positron and x-ray computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. P: 1 year each of Undergrad physics and calculus.
