Created by the family of civil and environmental engineering alumnus James G. Woodburn, The James G. Woodburn Award for Excellence honors outstanding teaching of engineering students and may be given to either a faculty or staff member in the College of Engineering. The James G. Woodburn Award for Excellence in Teaching was first presented in 2005.
