Getting two issues of PERSPECTIVE?

Some of you — 1,000 or so — may have discovered that you are now getting two issues of Perspective instead of the usual one. Chances are you're married to an engineering alumnus. When the university's new PeopleSoft alumni records system was implemented this fall, the "spousal linking" function was lost (this is the function that ensures our alumni couples get only one Perspective). This is a temporary situation — the university is working to resolve it. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the extra mail.
